Transfer-out Data:

Many of our 学生, even after one semester, transfer into four-一年 colleges. 的 College is especially proud of its transfer-out rate, as it shows the College is fulfilling its mission, and with the percentage of our graduates who successfully transfer into four-一年 colleges. 的 College’s Transfer-out rate, over a 5-一年 period, is illustrated in the table below and According to the IPEDS glossary, "transfer-out rate is defined by the total number of 学生 who are known to have transferred out of the reporting institution within 150% of normal time to completion divided by the adjusted cohort. Louisburg College assesses 学生 that leave its institution and enroll at other institutions, regardless of degree completion, as student achievement.

就业 Placement and Types of 就业 Obtained by Graduates

A primary aspect of Louisburg’s mission is to ‘provide a bridge for 学生 to make a successful transition from high school to senior colleges and universities’. 由于 to the mission of the institution, 学生 are encouraged to complete their associate’s degree at Louisburg and then pursue their bachelor’s degree immediately after graduation. 的 Office of Advancement developed a survey to obtain this information from graduating 学生. In the Spring of 2023, 91% of the graduating 学生 who were surveyed indicated that they plan to attend a 4-一年 institution for the 2023-2024 academic 一年. Approximately 9% indicated that they were undecided about their future plans. While our Academic Success Center assists 学生 with career readiness and applying for 就业, if 学生 are interested in 就业, over 90% of our 学生 are interested in assistance with applying to a 4-一年 institution when they graduate from Louisburg.
